לידתו של ישוע — História Bíblica
Luke 2:1-20
בבית לחם נולד המושיע — בשורה טובה לכל העולם.
Caesar ordered a census. Joseph and Mary — she heavy with child, near the end — walked to Bethlehem, a small town full of people equally weary. Door knocked, door closed. There was no room. Only a simple place, with the smell of animals and fresh straw.
That night Jesus was born — wrapped in cloths, lying in a manger. He did not come with royal guard or red carpet. He came as a fragile baby, crying like any child. God chose to enter history through small hands and bare feet.
Shepherds — humble people, often despised — saw the sky tear open with light. Angels sang: "Today a Savior is born — Christ the Lord." They ran, stumbling with joy, and found exactly what the angels had said.
Mary treasured everything in her heart, as one who knows she is living something larger than she can explain. Wise kings would come later. But the first to worship were the simple — because good news always reaches first those with room in their chest.
Reflexão
Jesus was born far from comfort — and that says much about God. He did not wait for perfect conditions to draw near to us. Bethlehem reminds us: the sacred appears where there is humility. This Christmas and every day, we can ask: am I making room for God's unexpected visit? Or do I close doors because the guest does not come as I imagined?
