טבילת ישוע — História Bíblica
Matthew 3:13-17
ישוע נכנס למי הירדן והאב מכריז: זה בני האהוב.
John the Baptist preached in the wilderness and baptized in the Jordan, calling people to repent. Then Jesus came from Galilee to be baptized. John hesitated: "I need to be baptized by you!"
Jesus answered that it was right to fulfill all righteousness. He entered the waters — not for his own sin, but to stand with us and begin his public ministry.
As he came up from the water, the heavens opened. The Spirit of God descended like a dove, and a voice from heaven said: "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased."
At the baptism we see the Trinity at work: the Son in the water, the Spirit as a dove, the Father's voice. It is the start of Jesus' mission — and a pattern for our own baptism in faith.
Reflexão
Before any public miracle, Jesus heard the Father's affirmation: "beloved." We need that voice too. Your worth does not start with what you do — it starts with being a beloved child. Have you been listening to that truth?

At the Jordan River: John the Baptist was baptizing people in the river. Jesus wanted to be baptized too.
