El Arca de Noé — Historia Bíblica

Genesis 6–9

Noé obedece a Dios y salva a su familia y a los animales del diluvio.

The earth was full of violence. People hurting one another, lying, forgetting God. In the middle of that chaos, Noah was different — righteous, honest, someone who still talked with God. When the warning of the flood came, Noah did not argue. He picked up the hammer. Year after year, while neighbors laughed at the "madness" of the ark, he obeyed.

Picture the creaking wood, the smell of pitch, the hard labor of building something enormous without seeing a drop of rain. Noah's faith was quiet and stubborn. When the animals began to arrive — two by two, like an unlikely parade — the impossible was happening. Family, creatures, and supplies entered the ark. Then the sky opened.

Forty days of water. The world outside disappeared. Inside the ark, only the sound of rain and the certainty that God was keeping those who trusted him. When the water went down, Noah released a bird. The green olive branch in the dove's beak brought hope. God set a rainbow in the sky: never again would he destroy the earth that way.

Noah stepped out onto fresh mud, breathing new air. The promise of the rainbow still holds today — every rainbow after the rain reminds us that God prefers to save rather than destroy, to wait rather than give up.

Reflexión

Obeying when no one understands is one of the hardest things in life. Noah built hope while the world mocked him. Perhaps you have been "hammering wood" for a long time — caring for family, resisting evil, keeping faith in silence. God sees. The ark was not just wood: it was refuge. And after the storm, there is always a clear sky waiting.
