La multiplicación de los panes — Historia Bíblica

John 6:1-14

Jesús alimenta a una multitud con cinco panes y dos peces.

Thousands followed Jesus — families, children, people tired from walking under a hot sun. As evening came, the disciples suggested: "Send them away to buy food." Jesus looked at the crowd and said what no one expected: "You give them something to eat." How? All they had was a boy with five loaves and two small fish.

The boy gave what he had — too little on paper, generous enough in heart. Jesus told everyone to sit on the grass. He gave thanks. Broke the bread. Shared it. The disciples ran from group to group. Bread kept coming, fish kept coming. No one went hungry.

About five thousand men ate — besides women and children. Twelve baskets were left over. It was not a stage trick. It was the answer of One who sees real hunger and responds with abundance.

Jesus did not multiply food alone — he multiplied hope. The little offered in faith stops being little. And everyone who ate that day carried in their body the certainty: this Teacher cares even for what seems too small to matter.

Reflexión

Perhaps you feel what you have to offer — time, money, talent — is ridiculous next to the need around you. The boy did not wait to have more. He gave. God still multiplies honest gestures. You do not need to fix the world alone; you need not to close your hand. Today, what "loaves and fish" can you share?
