La Creación del Mundo — Historia Bíblica

Genesis 1–2

Dios creó el cielo, la tierra, los animales y el ser humano con amor.

Before morning or night existed, before any sound in the universe, there was only God — and then everything began. It did not start with frightening thunder, as the myths of the region told. It began with the Creator's calm voice: "Let there be light." Darkness gave way. Picture that first ray crossing a world still without shape, without paths, without names.

The earth took on color, one layer at a time. Flowers opened, rivers found their beds, fish cut through water for the first time. God was not in a hurry. Each creature received a place in creation's choir — the sea with its rhythms, the sky with its flights, the land with its footsteps. Everything fit together like a song no one had heard before.

At last God shaped man and woman with his own hands, in his image. Not to serve as slaves, but to care, to name, to love. He placed them in the garden and looked at everything and said: it was very good. Not "good enough" — very good. God's heart rested on the seventh day, not from exhaustion, but from joy.

When you look at the sky today or feel the wind on your face, you are touching the same gift God gave at the beginning. The world was not born by accident — it was born from intention, from tenderness, from a love that wanted to share life.

Reflexión

How often do we run through the day without stopping to look at what surrounds us? This story invites us to breathe. Everything that exists bears the mark of the One who made us with care. Rest is not laziness — it is gratitude. Today, when you close your eyes or see a tree, a child, a beloved face, you can whisper: thank you. Creation still speaks. We only need to listen.
